Arroyo Escondido is a contemporary home designed to harmonize with its tropical surroundings, offering a seamless blend of modern architecture and natural beauty. Elevated above the landscape, it appears to float within the forest, minimizing environmental impact while embracing the outdoors. Movable walls and open layouts allow natural light, airflow, and the sounds of nature to flow through every space.

A defining feature is the seasonal river that runs beneath the home, transformed into a unique design highlight. A structural glass floor element reveals the flowing water below, creating a direct and immersive connection with the landscape.

Designed for the dry tropical climate, the home incorporates passive cooling strategies and locally sourced materials to reduce energy consumption. Strategically oriented for natural ventilation, it eliminates the need for artificial cooling systems while maintaining comfort. Arroyo Escondido offers a refined, sustainable living experience deeply connected to nature.
